If you asked me to tell you the day I decided to become a photographer I wouldn't know what to tell you. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian and a singer! As I moved on to high school I had started to see a glimpse of my

artsy-ness. I had absolutely no direction what so ever! I tried drawing, sculpting, painting, pottery. I even started painting pottery and selling it! However, in high school I fell into the position of yearbook editor and found my love for design!

I started pursuing graphic design as I left for college and loved it. It seemed as though I had found my "thing". I started an internship and loved the creativity but hated the cubicle! I quickly became aware that I'm not cut out for a 9-5 job.

Once I entered college, I started shooting with my amazing little Canon Rebel. I loved shooting little details, architecture, and when someone asked if I would ever pursue portrait photography my response was: "No, I don't really like taking pictures of people". What?! Oh how things change! Summer after my junior year, I upgraded my camera and turned my hobby into a business and never looked back! I have been blown away ever since. I never dreamed of having a job that incorporated everything I love most! Pictures, designing, and amazing people! I am so blessed to do what I do!

The name "Inspired Designs" has specific meaning in my life. I am a woman of faith. Jesus Christ holds the keys to my heart and I know that my love for design only comes from Him. He is my inspiration and my hope in every area of my life!
